When I first met Kirstyn she was a new mom like me, just trying to survive and laugh our way through it. She had the most beautiful baby who was always so well behaved with the biggest blue eyes, but she was also the mom who was down for talking about how things were going. Quickly we became friends who could openly discuss how we felt about our new life and how there was no turning back. Kirstyn came into my life as a real friend I could trust when I truly needed it – thank you universe! We connected over our babies but I like to think our friendship has evolved to much more than “mom group” friends. The host of my first ever book club, Kirstyn is the one person I know I can text all the TikToks to without shame and fully knowing I had spent the last two hours in the black hole that is TikTok – seriously I need to delete that app! Kirstyn is sweet, smart and the calm one of our friend group (until she has to break out the mom’s voice). This blue-eyed, blonde-haired beauty makes the most beautiful babies and somehow makes it all look so easy when I know for a fact it is not!
To be completely honest Kirstyn and her family for that matter didn’t have much choice but to let me take their maternity photos! I texted Kirstyn to tell her I needed to do them and asked when could I come over. Luckily for me, she agreed to let her crazy friend come over with her new camera and hoped for the best, Turns out this beautiful family made it look like I know what I am doing, mostly because they are all so stinking cute!
This pregnancy was something Kirstyn and her husband Hayden had longed for, to add to their family and make Quinn the best big sister ever – just don’t name the new baby anything Frozen related! Soon baby will be here and this family will grow even more beautiful. We can’t wait to meet the newest Malcomson addition and all the love that baby will bring.
