Have you ever met someone and had an instant connection, like “hey nice to meet you, let’s be best friends”? Yeah me neither.. until I met Hailey.
Hailey was my nurse when I had my son. I remember so vividly talking to this beautiful (also pregnant) nurse who was being so kind to me and chatting about all the things – specifically slushie flavors! I went home and told myself I was crazy for wanting to befriend this stranger and chalked it up to pregnancy hormones and all the wonderful hospital drugs. I swore to myself I would never admit any of this out loud. A few months later she walked into a mom group coffee date with her new baby and I knew she was going to be my people.
Watching Hailey not only be a mom to her sweet little girl but also being pregnant to her rainbow baby was truly so special. Hailey was the first person who trusted me to take her picture and always encouraged me to keep going. She is truly more beautiful on the inside – I know hard to believe but it’s true. This sweet in-home session is a beautiful memory of this special time with this Mama and her little girl before baby brother made his appearance and life as everyone knew it changed a little more.
Pregnancy looks different for everyone but all my friends look way too beautiful pregnant and it’s truly not fair. Hit me up if pregnancy doesn’t make you “glow” and you want to be friends!
